Carpe Diem Community Solutions has a proven background and the unique ability to plan and implement the appropriate public educational awareness tools
and involvement experiences.
Tommie Speights recently joined Carpe Diem Community Solutions as a Public Involvement Associate. His distinguished career includes twenty-two years of service as the Public Information Director for Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Three (D3). Carpe Diem Community Solutions is working in communities facilitating visioning, strategic planning, and community building opportunities. Carpe Diem Community Solutions (CDCS) president, Lynn Cherry, has over twenty-five years of public involvement experience. CDCS designs public engagement and awareness strategies around the focal point of community approval. The strategies employed are flexible and adapted to meet the needs of the community and the site. CDCS is skilled at working with citizens, stakeholders, environmental agencies, governmental officials, and the media. CDCS has designed and implemented successful public involvement activities for a wide variety of clients.

CDCS co-developed an issue brief and conducted a survey for the public workshop. The issue brief features three approaches regarding how to revitalize downtown Panama City.
