Future Land Use Code Development
Scope of Work:
Public Involvement Consultant: CDCS is responsible for facilitating steering committee meetings and public workshops, collection of public input data and report development, as well as supporting the development of changing the future land use code and zoning for the City of Panama City. CDCS co-developed an issue brief and conducted a survey for the public workshop. The issue brief features three approaches regarding how to revitalize downtown Panama City.  The three approaches are as follows:
  • Expand the list of uses allowed in Downtown
  • Expand the list of uses allowed in Downtown and promote Downtown as an urban neighborhood
  • Expand the list of uses allowed in Downtown and promote Downtown as a regional destination
